Music superstar, 2face Idibia, recently ended a 2-day campaign in Edo state for his ‘VOTE NOT FIGHT’ initiative. This initiative sets to inform youth on the importance of remaining peaceful during the forthcoming elections. With this, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has announced him as their Youth Ambassador.

2 face held a campaign rally on Thursday August 11th and spoke to youths at length on how they can promote peace regardless of the election results. The singer was issued his certificate of conferment during the International Youth Day celebration on Aught 12th in Edo State.

He also further embarked on a media tour to spread the message of non-violence during elections. He was interviewed by Emmanuel Akpolohor at ITV studios and proceeded to Raypower 105.5 FM studios also in Benin city, where he discussed the  rally.

Amber Heard refused to go under oath Saturday for her deposition, crying, yelling and screaming in defiance ... so claim Johnny Depp's lawyers, who want the judge to call BS on her and dismiss the domestic violence case.
TMZ broke the story, Amber showed up around 11:50 AM Saturday for a 10 AM deposition. She was there until around 9 PM but never even walked in the deposition room, where lawyers, a court reporter and videographer were waiting.
According to new legal docs filed by Johnny's lawyer, Laura Wasser, Amber repeatedly refused to submit to questioning. According to the docs, at 2 PM Wasser and company wanted Amber to leave the adjoining office where she had been waiting and enter the conference room so the depo could begin.
According the the docs, Amber refused to enter. At 5:30 PM, Wasser again requested Amber to enter the depo room and against she refused. She never went in the room, instead, according to Wasser, she began crying and carrying on in the adjoining office.
Wasser says Amber also refused to turn over documents she had requested.
Johnny's team now wants one of 2 things ... either an order prohibiting Amber from testifying when the case goes to trial next week, or an outright dismissal of her domestic violence case.

Law enforcement sources tell us Kris' white Rolls-Royce collided with a Prius -- the force of the impact deployed her airbag and absolutely destroyed the front end.
A Kardashian source tells us the Prius ran a red light.  A law enforcement source tells TMZ it appears Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her trying to get onto the 101 and caused the collision.
We're told Kris is being treated on scene by paramedics ... who we're told did not want to remove her from the car for fear of exacerbating her injury.
The Rolls is only a week old.

Mike Abdul is certainly one of the artistes that have revamped gospel music in Nigeria and he has endeared so many people to his heart.

However, since it was rumoured about three years ago that his marriage had hit the rocks, the young artiste had chosen not to talk about his status and based on that, so many took his silence for the truth.

But in a telephone chat with Saturday Beats, the Morire singer said that he was not divorced. He told Saturday Beats that it was a misconception for people to think he is legally free from his marriage.

“I have learnt not to comment on issues that border on my marriage. Initially when I started having bad press, I was not happy. I discovered that I was making those who wanted to make me sad, happy. It doesn’t make sense to give happiness, gladness and fulfilment to my enemies. I would like to correct a general notion; I am not divorced in anyway. I think it is people’s misconception; let us just leave it at that. People have their issues and it takes time to sort things out,” he said.



When probed on reconciliation talks with his estranged wife, the singer politely declined commenting on the matter anymore.

 “I don’t like to talk about my marriage and I would want to leave it at that,” he said.

But the singer beamed with excitement concerning his career and his new album, ‘Korede’, which according to him is doing very well in the market. He further told Saturday Beats how Korede Bello influenced his album title.

“The title of my new album is ‘Korede’ and it was influenced by a song, ‘Godwin’ by Korede Bello. I was at an event last year with the Midnight Crew where we  performed at someone’s birthday. After our performance, Korede Bello was next. I have always liked the song ‘Godwin’ because I feel that whatever you do in life, it is God that wins.  When I saw him, somehow that name Korede got stuck in my head. The next day when I was saying my prayers, no song could come to my mind, but the name Korede kept ringing in my head. The name means ‘To bring blessing’, and it is only God that brings blessing to someone’s life.

“I connected to his name knowing full well that God will bring my blessing especially with this album.   The funny thing is that I did not feature Korede Bello in the album but the only thing I did was to inform him that I was naming my album after him and he told me that it was very cool,” he said.
