The remake featured a star-studded cast to act alongside Ryan, including popular performers like Debra Messing, Bette Midler, Jada Pinkett Smith, Annette Bening, and Eva Mendes, to name a few. Sadly, The Women received some not-so-favorable reviews. One critic from Time even called it "…one of the worst movies I've ever seen."
Ouch! That could've hurt not only her pride, but possibly her film portfolio.
During the early 2000s, rumors surfaced that the star allegedly cheated on her then-husband of nine years, Dennis Quaid, with her Proof of Life co-star Russell Crowe. Ryan didn't really address the situation.
